As a registered Non-Profit in the province of Alberta, SAWS must hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where members can receive the Annual Financial Statements and elect Board of Directors. Notification of the AGM must be sent out to all members no less than 21 days prior to the date of the AGM.
For this meeting to be official, there must be a quorum of 25% of SAWS members either in person or on video (Zoom). Proxy votes are not allowed. Therefore, please make it a priority to attend.
The Financial Statements for the subject year, along with the 2025 AGM minutes and 2026 agenda are attached for review in the member email sent on May 25 2026.
We currently have a Board consisting of 9 members of which four completing their assigned terms. Elections will be held to replace the four exiting Board members and extend the two-year term of one other.
Light refreshments will be served at the meeting.
