Hnefatafl - Viking Strategy Game

Artist’s Statement: Hnefatafl is an ancient strategy game, played in northern Europe, that was supplanted by Chess in the 12th century. It involves two armies of unequal numbers. The goal is for the King to escape from his throne (centre tile) via one of the special corner tiles, while avoiding capture.
