Danish Modern Bench with Live Edge

Artist’s Statement: This bench was made around a big leaf maple live edge slab from Vancouver island. The single 4/4 slab was in rough shape. I combined elements of Danish Modern with live edge furniture in the design but wanted to lean more modern so I turned the live edge in upon itself. I am a hobby woodworker and this was my first foray into working with angled joinery.
