This is the popular annual Shop Tours meeting when members generously open their workshops for other members to visit.

Architectural Design and Woodworking - Ken Hutchinson

The March meeting will feature Ken Hutchinson from Ken Hutchinson Architects Ltd. Ken will do a power point presentation on Architectural Design and its Relationship to Woodworking.

The event, at Don James' shop, is a woodworkers potpourri and will feature demonstrations and discussions and I'm sure lots of hands on time. People are welcome to come for as little or as long as they would like.

January 2009 Meeting

Show and Tell - Wednesday, 21 January 2009, 7:00 p.m.

Location: Scarboro Community Centre Hall, 1727 - 14th Avenue SW, Calgary

The Show and Tell gives members a chance to show their pet projects, works-in-progress, talk about problems encountered, how they were solved etc. The items will be set up on tables for display, and then each member will have the opportunity to talk about their piece(s) for a few minutes. We will all then have the time to look at the items more closely and talk with the consignor over coffee etc.

The Show and Tell meeting is also a preview to our 2009 competition. So show it all!!!
